Peter MacDonald

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that CFFCA Vice President and Life Member Peter MacDonald of Mermaid, PEI
passed away February 12, 2025. Peter's wife, Marilyn and family were by his side.
Peter was a wonderful person and a great friend. He did everything for this Association and will be greatly missed. Peter was also a 5 time PEI Provincial champion.
He had a long battle with cancer and fought hard.
Rest in Peace Peter.

NO-TICK Rule Implemented at Canadian Championship

Curling Canada has adopted the No-Tick rule into the General Rules for Curling and therefore, the CFFCA will also adopt the rule at our National Championship starting in March 2025. Please familiarize yourself with the rule prior to starting competition.

BOB POOLE, was voted in as a LIFE MEMBER at the 2023 CFFCA AGM in Charlottetown, PEI.  
Past President and Life Member, Alan Sutherland presented Bob his plaque at the awards banquet in Moosomin, SK. in 2024.
Bob has been a CFFCA member since 1980, is a previous Manitoba Director and has been doing our website since 2004. He lives in WINNIPEG, MB
